This letter of recommendation concerns one of the most amazing healers I've come across in my career, Dr. Brandy McCans. One of my many jobs involves me as the Lead Fitness Instructor for the Santa Rosa Regional Training Center, a police academy in Santa Rosa, California. When I tell you that fitness and wellness are things that are very important in my life, know that this is one of my consuming passions. That's why I was very excited to take part in Dr. McCans' Purification Program.
So, why would a fitness instructor, someone who already eats well and is in excellent physical condition, want to participate in cleansing the body? Simple, my goals were to take myself from good to excellence, and no matter how much I try to treat my body like a temple, I too indulge in the occasional burger and fries and other convenient processed foods. Not to mention we all accumulate toxins, both natural and man-made, from the environment constantly. It's my belief that cleansing the body under the care of a professional is just being smart and should be part of a ongoing maintenance program for our body, mind and spirit.
Dr. McCans did a fantastic job of coordinating and supporting me and the other participants through the entire process. She brought outstanding knowledge, guidance and energy as I detoxified my body. Dr. McCans provided the kind of support you dream about in such situations. She checked in regularly by phone, held weekly meetings where she provided additional group guidance, recipes for delicious program friendly foods, toxicity evaluation sheets, supplements to aid in the detoxification process and information that was critical to being able to be successful in completing the program. If fact, I can say with confidence I could not have completed the program without her guidance, it's just too challenging and overwhelming to take something of this importance on your own without expert advice, guidance and support. Working with a professional is the key to success.
